Seas of Words is written by Hannah, a PhD student researching water and literature.
My main research is concentrated on Israeli and Palestinian literature. I mostly study contemporary literature, although I try to situate my readings in the longer historical context of water management and environmental interactions in the Middle East over the twentieth century. I sometimes look at film too.
I have previously researched forests in Israeli and Palestinian culture. You can read some of my thoughts on this in the current issue of the journal Green Letters.
